Greetings from 12 Seasons Farm,
We made it back from our vacation and are eager to finish well the
remainder of our season. We usually have fruits and vegetables that take
us to through the beginning of July.
We still have a good supply of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant,
cucumbers, carrots, onions, arugula, kale, Summercrisp lettuce, and a
number of herbs. Soon the mangos will begin to ripen and you should see
those at the market.
We plan to be at Lakes Park through all of June. The Bonita market on
Saturdays has one more remaining before we reopen a Saturday stand at
our farm.
We plan to return to Captiva market tomorrow and likely be there one
more Tuesday May 30.
Thank you to those that pre-order for delivery, farm pick up, and
market pre- orders. Please continue to use kalthe COD option rather than
pay by credit card as we have had some customers who used credit cards
on the website later have their cards compromised. The credit card
swiping at market is fine but until we figure out what is happening on
the website, it is better to use the “cash on delivery” option. Sorry
for the inconvenience.
If you would like to place an order for Thursday delivery or
farm pick up, please do so before 8 pm Tuesday at
www.12seasonsfarm.com.

This is a photo from market last Saturday in Bonita. Our diversity is
definitely getting smaller, but we still have a surprising amount of
crop given this heat. We are grateful for the team that covered for
while we were away for a family vacation.
We have a small crop of lychees this year and brought some to market
last Saturday. We are planning to bring some to Captiva and hopefully
Lakes Park.
While traveling through Arkansas on our way back to Florida, we
stopped at the Ft. Smith (Arkansas) farmers’ market. It was 63 degrees–
quite pleasant if you ask Vicki and me– but the kids were cold! They
even put on shoes.
We also went for a hike at the Arkansas Arboretum inside Pinnacle
Mountain State Park near Little Rock, Arkansas.
We stopped in for a visit to our friends who run Ocheesee Creamery in
North Florida. The kids enjoyed some fresh ice cream. We just returned
home tonight. __
It as been great to have a break at the tail end of this season. As
mentioned above, d to finish strong. It has been a long and hard season,
but a true pleasure to serve you! We have such amazing and supportive
customers. Thank you!
Danny, Vicki, the kids, and the 12 Seasons Team
