2023-05-20 newsletter

Greetings to the residents of Sanibel and Captiva from 12 Seasons
Farm,

We plan to be at McCarthy’s Marina this coming Tuesday from 9 to
11am, May 23. After a week off while we were away on a family vacation
we plan to be back this coming Tuesday.

Thank you to those that pre-order and pick up your orders at the
market! If you order for Tuesday, please use the COD option rather than
pay by credit card as we have had some customers who used credit cards
on the website later have their cards compromised. The credit card at
market is fine but until we figure out what is happening on the website,
it is better to use the “cash on delivery” option. Sorry for the
inconvenience.

We continue to thank Captain Bob and Jenny Rando with Captiva Cruises
for allowing us to be at the marina this season!

If you would like to place an order for Tuesday pick up,
please do so before 8 pm Sunday at www.12seasonsfarm.com.

This is a photo from market today in Bonita. Our diversity is
definitely getting smaller, but we still have a surprising amount of
crop given this heat. We are grateful for the team that covered for us
until we return to Florida.

We have been harvesting a small crop of lychees. We picked some for
market today and hope to bring some to market on Tuesday. They are so
delicious.

While traveling through Arkansas on our way back to Florida, we
stopped at the Ft. Smith farmers’ market. It was 63 degrees– quite
pleasant if you ask Vicki and me– but the kids were cold!

We went for a hike today at the Arkansas Arboretum inside Pinnacle
Mountain State Park near Little Rock, Arkansas. We plan to be back in
Florida tomorrow and home on Monday.

It as been great to have a break at the tail end of this season. With
our staff numbers thinner, it would have been challenging to pull off a
Tuesday market while we were gone last week. Thanks for your patience!
We look forward to being back with you at market on Tuesday. We may try
to pull off one more market on the 30th but will let you know.

It has been a pleasure to serve you this season!

Look forward to seeing you Tuesday.

Danny, Vicki, the kids, and the 12 Seasons Team
