2023-05-15 newsletter

Greetings from 12 Seasons Farm,

This week there will be no Captiva market at McCarthy’s Marina. We
plan to return there next Tuesday, May 23.

Two customers informed us that their credit cards were compromised
after they used our website. We are very sorry for this and for any
other people who may have experienced this. Two IT professionals have
looked into this and we have made new upgrades to the website and
changed passwords. We are not sure if this has resolved the matter– it
may be a deeper issue with Square who processes the transactions through
the website. In the meantime we recommend that you use COD (cash on
delivery) to secure your order, rather than the credit card. We
sincerely apologize for any inconveniences we have caused. And if anyone
else has experienced issues with their credit card, please do let us
know.

We plan to be at the Bonita Market for the next two Saturdays through
the end of May.

The Wednesday Lakes Park market continues through June.

We plan to continue home deliveries for the rest of May and June.

If you would like to place an order for Thursday home
delivery or farm pick up, please do so before 8 pm, Tuesday at
www.12seasonsfarm.com.

Here is Emily, Michelle, and Jack.

We grew some mini watermelons this season. We had them at the
Saturday market. They are small, but tasty. It is rare to find
organically grown melons.

We are grateful the restaurant orders have remained strong.

We took a break this past week while we still have staff here to
travel to see Vicki’s family. On the way to Oklahoma we stopped at Poe
Springs, near Gainesville Fl. This is one of our family favorite springs
and the kids enjoyed a rope swing on the Santa Fe river.

We were with Vicki’s mom for Mother’s Day. The kids are having fun
visiting with their grandmother and their cousins.

Cousins sharing a Mother’s Day meal that included some farm tomatoes,
carrots, and peppers we brought along.

Playing bocce ball in downtown Oklahoma City.

This is at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City. We are
grateful for some much needed rest. It has been an especially grueling
season with the added workload and loss from the hurricane back in
September. To finally take a break has been so appreciated. We are
especially grateful to the team back home– the Small Family and so many
of our staff who are steering the ship and allowing us this trip. Thank
you!!

Thank you for your continued support.

Have an enjoyable and rest-filled week.

Danny, Vicki, the kids, and the 12 Seasons Team
