Description

This size is great for the in the shower where they help clean, remove dead skin, and body odors. They become soft when wet and last a long time.  These are also great for body and household cleaning. In the kitchen, they are wonderful for gently scrubbing dirty dishes. Can be cut to a smaller size for use in the kitchen.

The loofah gourd grows on a vine during the summer on our farm. As it matures, it develops a hard peel. We sun dry it, peel the hard exterior layer and remove seeds inside. The fibrous interior is what makes for a wonderfully useful long-lasting sponge. Photo shows most of the peel still intact.
