This is what we are harvesting:

  • Curly Kale
  • Flat Kale
  • Swiss Chard
  • Eggplant
  • Sweet Italian Bull’s Horn Peppers
  • Heirloom/Specialty tomatoes (mainly #2s)
  • Daikon radish
  • Flat Parsley
  • Lemongrass
  • Papaya
  • Banana
  • Mango
  • SW FL Wildflower Honey
  • Strawberry Butter

We still have plenty of mangos available.

And bananas too!

We have enjoyed a respite from the farm visiting family and friends.
We had a great time visiting our friend Stephan at Hungry World Farm in
Tiskilwa, Illinois.

Stephan worked for us one season about 9 years ago and is now
managing the vegetable production farm at Hungry World Farm.

We got to enjoy some of their early harvest of tomatoes. Superb
quality! Thank you Stephan!

We also visited our friend Dwight Carter who operates Carter’s Red
Wagon Farm in Park Rapids, MN

Here is Dwight with Vicki and the kids in the background picking
strawberries.

I joined Dwight at the Lakes Area Farmers Market in Detroit Lakes, MN
where they had a long line for their super delicious strawberries. It
was fun to join in helping sell there.

Benjamin helping dice the strawberries for a strawberry shortcake
dinner with the Carter Family. They have a big slide made from culverts
in the background with a mini barn and silo. They open it for their fall
festival with a big corn maze.

Dwight’s brother Jonathan and wife Julia have milking cows from which
they sell the milk and make amazing cheeses that they sell at the
farmers market. The kids enjoyed being there for the evening
milking.

We visited Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota where the kids
completed the necessary work to get their Junior Ranger badges.

This photo is taken at Winnewissa Falls at Pipestone National
Monument. They have had abnormally large amounts of rainfall in this
part of the country. The falls are beautiful.

We have had a fun journey to reconnect with family and friends and
enjoying the beauties of this great land.

As we reflect on this season, we are grateful for all those who
labored hard at 12 Seasons to grow delicious and healthy produce. And we
are thankful to you all for your generous and amazing support.

All the best to each of you,

Danny, Vicki, the kids, and the 12 Seasons Team
