Greetings from 12 Seasons Farm,
We are planning to stay open an additional week because several
inquired about how to get produce still longer. The farmers markets are
finished and the diversity is limited, but we will have farm pickup and
home delivery on Friday, July 5. Our team will work a half day on
Thursday, and prepare orders for Friday (July 5) delivery or self-serve
farm pick up.
Thanks to those who came for the final Saturday market last weekend.
We appreciate you supporting us to the end!
Here is our schedule for this week:

Yesterday Romain, on left from France, finished his time at 12
Seasons and is now moving on to another farm to gain more valuable life
skills and English language proficiency. We wish him the very best!
The Blank Family took a trip last week and visited friends along the
east coast. We stayed a couple days visiting the Hopkins and Dallmanns
in South Carolina. Marcie and Luke Dallmann worked over multiple seasons
for 12 Seasons Farm.
Jeff Hopkins, who I worked with at ECHO many years back, is the farm
manager for Musser Fruit Research Center for Clemson University. We had
great fun tasting amazing peaches and other fruits in the Clemson Univ.
fruit program.
We also made it up to Ephrata Pennsylvania to visit Justin. What a
pleasure to see him and on his own terrain!
Justin gave us a tour of Paradise Organics where he has worked a long
time!
Justin’s backyard and garden. The kids were excited to be with Justin
who is like an uncle to them.
We had a wonderful visit with Anthony who came from Cape Cod to PA to
visit! He is so good to our children!
We also stayed with Elisha and the Young Family in Gettysburg, PA who
run a produce stand and the Lion Potter, producing extraordinary mugs
and various pottery items. The photo above are Elisha’s brothers, Caleb
and Kagen who came to 12 Seasons and volunteered when he was 14. Now he
is 17!
Sharing a meal with the Young Family. It was great to finally meet in
person David Young, Elisha’s father and his mother, Junko. They are a
beautiful family. Many of you remember Elisha from both the Captiva and
Bonita markets. He is a dear friend.
Elisha’s parents are amazing artists, well-known for their quality
pottery. People travel from great distances to visit their gallery in
Gettysburg. We had a special few days with them! You can learn about
Elisha’s family, https://www.thelionpotter.com/
We hope you are reconnecting with friends and family as you gather
around tables with good food and really good company!
