Greetings from 12 Seasons Farm,
Saturday we began our first market at the farm this season. The
diversity and volume of production are coming down, but it is impressive
to see what we still have this late in the season. Most farming
operations are finished in south Florida so local produce is hard to
come by, but 12 Seasons Farm should have produce continue for the month
of June.
We are continuing with the two Tuesday options for getting produce on
Sanibel and Captiva– home delivery and picking up your 12 Seasons order
at MacIntosh Books + Paper.
Thursday we have the option for farm pick-up and home delivery
through the majority of SW Florida. Please place your orders by 8 pm
Tuesday for either of those options.
Finally, we will continue to have a Saturday market at the farm 8 am
to noon for the month of June. If you want to preorder, please place an
order by 8 pm Thursday and you can pick up your order at the Saturday
market. The Farm market address: 14820 Old Olga Rd., Fort Myers,
FL 33905

We still have decent diversity for this intense heat! Here is a photo
from Saturday market.
It was great to have Ek, Bianca, and Mikha visiting the farm this
past weekend. Ek helped prepare a papaya planting location for next
season.
Now comes a lot of hard work prepping beds for next season.
Benjamin is helping me find some of the final grapefruit of the
season.
We still have lychee available this week and likely next week.
Annika harvesting lychees for a snack!
Benjamin under some bananas that still need to ripen. Annika took
this photo, experimenting with her new camera.
Jungle boy Josiah swinging on the vines from a ficus tree.
The kids and Elena at the Barbara B. Mann theater last week watching
an Irish Dance performance called Celtic Throne. We had a lot of
fun!
Simeon and Annika did a great job setting up the market at the farm
without me Saturday morning, arising early and setting up tables, tents,
and transporting the produce. I was really proud of those two.
For those of you still in SW Florida, we hope some of the available
options this week work for you to get fresh organically grown
produce!
Have a great week and hope to see many of you at the farm on
Saturday!
Danny, Vicki, the kids, and the 12 Seasons Team
