Greetings from 12 Seasons Farm,
We are returning to Captiva this Tuesday for the first farmers market
of this season. The market has relocated back to South Seas Island
Resort on Captiva. The market takes place every Tuesday, 9am to 1pm. For
those interested, you can buy off the table, place a market preorder, or
have a home delivery on both Sanibel and Captiva Islands. If you place
an order online for delivery or market pick-up, please do so by SUNDAY,
8pm.
We have enjoyed serving the residents of Sanibel and Captiva over
many seasons and are grateful to be back again for another season. Last
year, in spite of all the great challenges, we enjoyed getting to know
so many of you each week at the marina. I will miss those days coming
there with Annika and Simeon and engaging with you all. But we are happy
for you all to hear that the progress is enough that a larger market is
returning. There should be a number of vendors present this season.
We look forward to serving you once again with healthy and delicious
produce!

We ended up having a wonderful morning market in spite of inclement
weather forecasted. We were dry for the most part and had a near sell
out at the market. Thank you to all who came out!
The farm and SW Florida is getting a much appreciated rain this
weekend!
After market we hung ornaments on our Christmas tree. The kids enjoy
this festive time listening to beautiful music and drinking hot cider.
We are tired after a long day but I take delight in these simple
pleasures of hanging an heirloom tomato ornament as we meditate on the
deeper yearnings of our hearts for peace on earth, goodwill toward
men.
We thank you for opportunity to serve you this coming season.
